    Kiwi II Playground Set

Perfect for younger children or families looking for a compact yet fully-featured backyard playset, the Kiwi combines climbing, sliding, swinging, and imaginative play in one fun package.

    The sandbox base adds another play activity and provides natural shade, and you can optionally add a sandbox cover to keep out curious animals.

    Note: Manual in imperial measurements; engineered for maximum stability and safety.

    If DIY install isn't for you; there are other companies that do kit-set assembly that can assist you in assembling. Also, sometimes uni students are a great affordable way to get it assembled.

    Warranty details

    2 year warranty on the accessories.
    10 year warranty on the timber workmanship. Wood must be sealed within 60 days of being weather exposed/assembled, and resealed every 10 years.
    Warranty valid for residential use only - does not include multi-household/group settings

    Pick Up Options

    Pickup available in Mangere, Auckland Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm. (no weekends or public holidays).

    Item will be ready to collect within 48 hours. If you would like your playground ready for collection faster than this - please contact us - depending on warehouse staff availability this may be an option.

    Address will be sent after purchase is made, as this is a third party warehouse & you need to arrange a pickup time.

    Freight & Dispatch/delivery timeframe

    Dispatch is made within 48 hours of the order being placed (excluding weekends and public holidays). Playgrounds, tube slides and bulk items are generally sent on mainfreight. You are welcome to arrange your own freight if preferred.

    Delivery timeframe is generally 2-10 days depending on your location.

    We have multiple companies we normally get quotes from to keep your transport costs low, so please contact us first - or click 'request quote' at checkout and we will get the freight pricing for you asap. This can vary widely for some locations due to the size of the playgrounds - thus us sourcing multiple quotes for you.

    Returns

    Returning these bulky items can be done, but isn't easy logistically. We charge a 10% admin fee or $300 flat (whichever is lower) to cover warehouse costs. Freight both directions is at your cost, but we can arrange for you if you would like.
    All items must be in original packaging, unused and in new condition.

    Approximately 6L amber stain suggested. We recommend applying Playground Sealant within 60 days to help protect your set.

    Cedar is one of the best natural materials for outdoor playgrounds because it’s strong, safe, and built to last.

    It contains natural oils that make it highly resistant to rot, moisture, and insects—without needing harsh chemical treatments. This means our playgrounds stay durable and low-maintenance, even in outdoor conditions.

    Cedar is also dimensionally stable, so it resists warping, cracking, and swelling over time, helping the structure stay safe and sturdy for years of play.

    From a safety perspective, cedar has a smooth grain with fewer splinters and doesn’t overheat in the sun like metal or some plastics, making it more comfortable for children to play on.

    And just as importantly—it looks beautiful. Cedar has a warm, natural tone that weathers gracefully and, when maintained, continues to look stunning in your backyard. Many families find it a much more attractive option than treated pine.

    Finally, cedar is a more sustainable choice. It grows faster than many hardwoods and is a renewable resource, making it better for the environment while still delivering excellent outdoor performance.
