    1. Add to cart — Choose your playground equipment and head to checkout as normal.
    2. Select Zip — Choose Zip as your payment method at checkout.
    3. Sign in or sign up — Log in to your existing Zip account or create one in seconds. You'll need a New Zealand debit or credit card.
    4. Pay your first instalment — Pay your first instalment at checkout. The remaining payments are automatically scheduled.
    5. We ship your order — Your order is processed and dispatched immediately, just like any other purchase.

    Want to secure your playground equipment now and pay it off gradually? Our layby option lets you reserve your items and spread the cost over a period that works for you. Your order is held and shipped once it's fully paid off.

    Our layby payments are managed through Lay-Buys.com, a secure payment platform integrated with our store. This means your payments are tracked automatically, you'll receive reminders for upcoming instalments, and you can monitor your layby balance online at any time.

    How layby works

    1. Choose your items — Add your playground equipment to your cart and proceed to checkout.
    2. Select Layby at checkout — Choose the layby payment option. You'll be guided through setting up your payment plan via Lay-Buys.com.
    3. Pay your deposit — A deposit is required upfront to secure your order and reserve stock.
    4. Set your payment schedule — Choose a payment frequency that suits you — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. Lay-Buys.com will send you automatic reminders before each payment is due.
    5. Track your progress — Log in to your Lay-Buys.com account anytime to view your balance, payment history, and remaining instalments.
    6. Order ships — Once your layby is fully paid, we dispatch your order straight away.

    Layby terms

    • Minimum order value of $100 to be eligible for layby.
    • A deposit is required upfront to secure stock — the exact amount will be shown at checkout.
    • Layby plans can be set up over a period of up to 12 weeks.
    • If you need to cancel your layby, a cancellation fee may apply. Any payments made beyond the cancellation fee will be refunded.
    • Layby items are reserved for you and held in our warehouse — they won't be sold to anyone else while your layby is active.
    • Stock availability is confirmed at the time of deposit. If an item is on pre-order or backorder, your layby timeline will align with the expected arrival date.
    • All layby payments are securely processed through Lay-Buys.com.
