The warranty is for 10 years on the timber workmanship and 2 years on all accessories.

The warranty requires that the set is regularly checked and maintained. We recommend that you apply an oil to the timber soon after you build the set (or before you start) to protect it from harsh elements. Alternatively you can paint it to bring a different look to suit your backyard.

The swing and slide playground sets are designed for ages 3-11 years.

The slides & swings have a weight limit of 70kg.

Wow, that is a hard one, as they are all very popular, and changes season to season.

The Kiwi II has been the most popular smaller playground, but the Weka is fast catching up to this. Both more compact & affordable.

The Pukeko our top selling middle sized playground. It is also the base for most of the 1.5m deck height playgrounds. With the option of a tube slide, tyre swing, monkey bars &/or swing bridge that can be added onto it.

Large playgrounds change in which one is most popular; the Kea II one year, the Moa another year. The Albatross is new, so we are looking forward to seeing how this goes.

They are designed to be easy for anyone to assemble; but especially the big playgrounds there are a lot of boxes & pieces & require patience. A time estimate is included on each playground page. But this is a guide only; and depends how good you are with kit-sets :).

They do come with with a very comprehensive step by step manual. Everything is pre-cut and pre-drilled etc - you just need to secure everything together as per instructions. Allow time though - being rushed is stressful!

Generally no these residential models are designed so they can sit safely on the ground without the need to concrete them in however the fantail model does require concreting in.

The swing legs come with pegs to hammer into the ground to stop them moving around and the rest of the set is designed to sit solidly on its base.

If you are in a high wind zone area however, we do recommend you use stakes and concrete the stakes in.

Playgrounds: each box has a parts check off list inside. We always advise to NEVER to mix parts together and keep them in their boxes when assembling. The instruction booklet has the box & parts codes in this, so this is important to make your assembly process easy.

Though rare; if you are missing screws/bolts/washers/nuts - most are generic and inexpensive it can be easily replaced/found at your local hardware stores. This also prevents delays in your install process. We also stock a range of these and can send out for you if needed.

Wood in its natural state will split and surface cracks are common and not a safety issue. A “check” is a surface crack that is usually narrow and is more or less limited to the surface of the wood so it does not penetrate into the board very deeply.  A crack on the other hand may be narrow or wide and may go very deep into the wood.  Checks and cracks can be acceptable conditions in some cases. Surface checks in non-structural members are generally okay. 

If you are concerned contact us with photographs and make sure the playgrounds are sealed/stained upon installation.

It depends on the type of product. Small items such as swings and telescopes are sent on a courier. Normally these take 1-5 days to arrive.

Bigger freight, such as slides, monkey bars or swing sets, playgrounds  can take 2-4 working days in North Island and 5-7 working days South Island..

Note: Christmas time can increase these times; but if your item hasn't arrived within 3-5 days, please let us know so we can chase up, or you can track & chase yourself.

 Pre-ordered items have a lead time of 2-12 weeks. This will be stated with the individual products on our website.

Yes, we are happy to exchange or refund your item within 30 days if it is in the same condition it left in - brand new - unused - and still has its original packaging.

There is a 10% admin fee to cover warehouse handling costs etc. Freight in both directions is at your cost; but we can assist with a courier ticket to make it easier for you. Refund will be processed within 2 working days of the item being returned (in acceptable condition)
