These are typically used from 6 months to 2-3 years of age. Suitable from when the child can sit up on their own.
This is personal preference, and depends on what you are attaching to.
All our swing hangers meet the safety requirements - they have a moving part to reduce friction and wear from the swinging action.
For residential setting, the Swing hanger with snap hook or Swing hanger with D shackle are great, as they are easy to install, and you can attach the swing chain directly to the snap hook or D Shackle.
Between these two, it is just a preference on your style of connection to the swing rope or chain.
The Swing Ductiles are commercial grade swing hangers. These can use a D Shackle to connect the swing chain or rope to the swing hanger. You can then attach a snap hook between the D shackle and swing chain if you want the option of quickly changing the swing
This depends on which swing. Weight limits are listed on each product page under specifications.
Bucket swings are typically 30kg. Flexible belt swing is 50kg, and the KBT Rubber swing seat and the residential belt swing both have a weight limit of 70kg.

Cacoon swings are 50-70kg depending on which one
The swing hangers should be set about 5-10% wider than the width of the seat. So it depends on the seat width. A guide is 50-60cm (from the centre of 1 swing hanger to the centre of the second swing hanger)
About 35-50cm is a guide. You need to adjust according to you and your child's requirements.
For Bucket & Baby swings - you want these hanging about your waist height - so they are easy for you to push without hurting your back!
